Kingdoms Of Blue Sky & White Mountains: 2008 ... Sikkim

Last few years I have been very fortunate to have traversed a lot of India and to have seen many kingdoms .. Watching the splendour of natural cement mountains and the clear blue sky from 40,000 feet is an experience which the words cant fathom. SInce last few years I am enticed by yet another awesome "Kingdom of the Blue Sky & White Mountains" ..Every moment spent there was something different, which I have never experienced in my life anywhere. !!

At the start of 2008 i have been to another hidden kingdom of SIKKIM, A land of Prayer Flags, Amazing Festivals and Rinpoche ..

in this trip, i earned good friends for life time, Tega (who is amazing guide and excellent knowledge of Sikkim, Tibet & Buddha's histories and man of many languages, he can speak almost 8 different languages), that makes him a prized company. Richard (nice human being & actor too) and And lastly Joel who has inspired me enough to have a similar lifestyle as him.

As a part of trip I had to be at Delhi and my flight was delayed. I had no contact details of Joel and I was a bit scared and skeptical about the entire trip since I had no idea how to get in touch with Joel.... but to my surprise Joel was waiting for me outside the airport at midnight... with his BIG inimitable smile ... (Sorry Joel I have stolen you from your blog)

Next morning we started for Bagdogra and flight was on time (surprise) and we reached there before time, were thinking we have to wait for Tega .. But one more surprise was waiting for us, A big smiley face was waiting for us out side of Airport.
