Ladakh ... The Frozen Land . ! ! !

. . For one of my vacation I was thinking .. How to cut off from world ? I have visited mostly all Hill station in North Himalaya and was looking for someting different. Finally I thought about Leh-Ladakh & started hunting information about Leh & Ladakh, I just had information that that is located upper north of India and part of Jammu & Kashmir. Finally I i got few information about Leh and information was discouraging me, winter is very cold but how cold that I was not knowing.
Finally after 15-20 days of hard work I was able to find information about where to stay, still was not aware what to do :), I jsut want to run away from world.
Finally day came and started from my home town Vadodara to Leh, I had a late night flight from Vadodara to Delhi and next day early morning from Delhi to Leh (which is capital of Ladakh region).

Finally I reached Leh in early mornign and surprise was wating for me outside and i was feeling unusual clod, one monk was with me and he told me know outside temperature is -5 Celsius. I was there without proper winter gear, I immediate thought, i did bugest mistake of my life .. But as commited by Hotel, a Jeep with heater was wating for me.

I was thinking, Leh must be same as other hill station, but i was 100% wrong. here is first snapshot.
First day .. Leh-Ladakh.. My first impression was washed out completely by seeing Leh, it was barren land, all trees and grass were in golden color and I amazed after this first snapshot.

I am not too much religious, but after this first picture, i belived only God can create such wonderful pace.

And with lots of new surprises were wating for me .. here are few of my sweet chilling memories of Leh and around places.
